The nursery children loved learning all about the Queen and her Platinum Jubilee. We discussed who the queen was and what she did. We also looked at some fun facts about Queen Elizabeth II and why it was significant that the Queen was celebrating her Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
We then had a very royal afternoon celebrating with all the other school children at Holly Hill in our best clothes. Activities included royal play, making gold paper plate crowns and having lunch outside altogether with the bigger children.
What a celebration living life in all its fullness!
