What a fabulous time we had down on the farm! Nursery trip to Umberslade Farm Park was enjoyed by all our children and families. The children were very excited as we travelled on the bus to the farm. Once there we split into two groups and were taken around the farm by two very helpful and friendly guides. There was a tractor ride with Father Christmas where the children had a chance to talk to Father Christmas and tell him what they would like for a present. He had requests for yoyo's, shoes with laces, an iPad and a bat mobile. The children also had a chance to play a part in the Nativity story acted out in the barn. Our children enjoyed dressing up and acting the part of Mary, Joseph, angels, stars, animals and kings (good practise for next year!). Finally, we visited the small animals and had a chance to stroke and hold Pudding, one of their newest animals, the baby rabbit along with some of the bigger rabbits and guinea pigs. After all the fun we sat and had our packed lunch together in the marque. One of our mums commented that she had considered not coming as her son was a little unwell but she was glad she came saying "It is important to share memories.". So many of our parents echoed their enjoyment of the trip and most commented the following day at how well their children slept that night.
