Well, Mrs Thurman couldn’t be prouder of Maple Class even if she tried!
All the children have clearly been working so hard on their reading and phonics which is shining through when any adult gets to hear them read.
We have begun a new phonics and reading scheme/order which is why your child hasn’t received a reading book this week but that will be getting one of these wonderful books this week to enjoy with you at home. The children will be very familiar with the story because they have spent time this week reading it to an adult at school.
Please spend time enjoying your child’s book with them every evening and remember to sign their diary and send it in everyday so they can contribute to filling our second jar of joy!
