We are scientists in Maple
Today we started our lesson by reminding ourselves of different categories of animals and in our talk partners, spoke about their distinguishing features that put them in their groups. We were so good at recalling certain information and used lots of new scientific vocabulary. Then we spoke about what different mammals eat. Next, we sorted the pictures into animals that eat meat, vegetables or both. We learnt that these all had special names for them. Meat eaters are carnivores, vegetable eaters are herbivores and animals that eat both are omnivores. Finally, we drew a picture of our favourite animal we had learnt about. We really have been 'Living Life in all it's Fullness.'
