This week for our RE in Year 1 we focused on Remembrance Day.
We thought about what it means to remember, why we remember on the 11th day of the 11th month and we thought about how grateful we are for all the men and women who serve in the military so that we are able to live life in all its fullness.
We spent time creating our own poppies, a poppy wreath to lay at our service and a prayer of remembrance.
