Welcome back to living life in all its fullness in Cedar Class. The children have had a lovely first week back and have hit the ground running with their learning. This week we have learnt four new sounds. The children have expanded their phonics knowledge and now know digraphs too! They know qu, ch, sh and th. We are so pleased with the children retaining their sounds over the half term. Please continue to read with them daily as it makes a huge difference to their reading ability.
Next week we will be visiting the church on Tuesday. Please ensure that the children are in school by 8.50 as we will be leaving promptly. The children will need to wear uniform and will be provided with a school lunch.
