Welcome back Maple - Happy New Year
Welcome back to a brand new term, I would like to start by wishing you all a Happy New Year and thanking you for your kindness before the holidays. I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and you are now ready to start our new term.
This week we have started new topics in all subjects.
In English we have started to look at the book called 'The Magical Garden of Claude Monet.'
In Maths we are working towards place value to 20.
In RE we have started to look at the religion of Sikhism.
In History and Geography our new courageous advocate will be Queen Elizbeth II and King Charles III.
In Science we are looking at animals that live in or around the UK. In DT we will be making puppets.
We have been truly 'Living Life in all it's Fullness' this week as we have embarked on our new learning journey and already we have learnt some amazing facts.
I hope you like the drawings we completed of the Queen this week. We loved our practical maths day, where we worked in partners to play number race games, creating representation of numbers on a ten frame and bingo. Bingo was our favourite. You can also see some pictures of us moving around the classroom to answer quiz questions about what we had learnt about Sikhism. What a busy week we have had.
