We have had a first great week back here in Fir Class.
We have been working hard on our phonics especially when applying what we know into new words. We have even been introduced to two new split digraph - a-e for bake and e-e for these.
We have started our new text in English which is called Stanley’s Stick as well as completing some super maths work focusing on number bonds to 10 and 20 alongside recognising numbers as words.
In science, we have been introduced to our topic on Materials and we have started investigating what different objects are made from.
Finally, we were introduced to our new and exciting courageous advocates. We are now learning all about the Cadbury Brothers and locating where the famous Cadbury factory is located.
We have learnt so many new things this week.
It is great to be back!
