Maple class have been Living Life in all its Fullness this week by learning all about the Holy Week. We have learned about why Easter is such an important celebration for Christians and what events happened such as Palm Sunday, the Last Supper and Maundy Thursday. We have been sharing our thoughts about whether Easter is a happy time or a sad time. We have completed some fantastic work in our books and are continuing to work on our handwriting and developing our sentence structure.
We even had a visit from the Easter Bunny in Maple Class! We saw a video of the Easter Bunny sitting in our reading area. He then left us a letter telling us about an Easter egg hunt that he had planned for us. We followed the clues which led us to some eggs in our class. We had an amazing time and are still looking for him now. On Friday we are planning to write thank you letters to him.
Maple Class have also been chefs this week creating some delicious pizzas with the help of our lovely caterers in school. What a magical week it has been.
