This week our story has been all about birthdays. The children recalled their own birthday's, sharing their memories of those special times, exploring what happens when it's your birthday. We talked about what a question mark is and why we use it. The children were great all week at finding question marks, tricky words and the new sounds of the week in other books when they were reading. We completed a number of activities through the week one of which was sounding out and finding the matching grapheme for things we might have as a present.
