This week Willow class has had a wonderful time celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week through lots of exciting, creative activities. We started with a fun “Name That Nursery Rhyme” quiz, where the children showed brilliant listening skills and amazed us with how many rhymes they knew!
The children enjoyed colouring their favourite rhyme characters, completing nursery rhyme jigsaws, and talking about which rhymes they love most and why. We also had great fun making nursery rhyme scenes with playdough and counting buttons for wheels and clocks.
To finish, the children painted beautiful “Twinkle Twinkle” artwork, showing creativity and pride in their work.
Throughout the week, the children have truly shown what it means to live life in all its fullness—exploring, creating, sharing, and enjoying the joy of music and rhyme together.
