Willow Class Remembers
This week, Willow Class have been learning all about Remembrance Day and the importance of remembering those who fought for what is right.
We reflected on our school values of thankfulness, respect, kindness, and tolerance, thinking carefully about how these values link to Remembrance Day and the sacrifices others have made for us.
Together, we created a beautiful class wreath by painting our hands red and making handprints to form the shape of a poppy wreath. We also worked together to write a class poem to show our thoughts and reflections.
As part of our learning, we enjoyed a range of creative Remembrance Day activities, including: painting a poppy field, matching poppies to their numerals and designing our own poppy art work.
It has been a special time to pause, think, and remember with thankful hearts, as we reflect on how we can live “life in all its fullness".
