This week, Willow class have been reading the story 'When's my birthday?' by Julie Fogliano. The children were very excited thinking about their own birthdays and they answered the questions 'How old are you?' and 'How old will you be on your next birthday?' The children tried super hard to write the answer to these questions. They identified which words were our tricky words (I and be) and they used their sound knowledge to support them sounding out the other words. Well done Willow class, you really are living life in all its fullness.
