Here are some of the activities the children have been enjoying in our Reception class this week. Recently, we explored the delightful story of What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson. The children really enjoyed this story and have been role-playing scenes from the book and creating their own imaginative maps and strategies to catch the 'bad guys' in the story.
The children have been discovering God’s world and all the incredible things it encompasses. Last Friday, we ventured to the field where the children crafted mini habitats for minibeasts, considering essential elements like food and shelter. This hands-on activity was a wonderful way for them to connect with nature and learn about the natural world.
The children have been watching videos about our amazing planet, and their faces have lit up with wonder. They have enjoyed drawing and painting their favourite things, expressing their creativity and happiness.
