Today the children were busy being problem solvers! They were completing subtraction questions, and I am so proud at how confident they all were. Throughout the classroom the children have enjoyed number activities such as ordering numbers 1-10, counting out lots of objects, they created ‘doubles butterflies’ and explored number bonds to 5. They are all becoming wonderful mathematicians and continue to gain a deep understanding of numbers 1-10 and beyond.
They have also enjoyed lots of other activities this week, our new book is called ‘Tad’ by Benji Davies and they have explored the life cycle of a frog. They also enjoyed lots of time in the courtyard enjoying the sunshine! Have a look at the children living life in all its fullness.
