The children have started their Supersonic Phonics journey with the introduction to the sounds ‘s,a,t,p,i,n’. The children are trying really hard in their phonics lessons joining in with all the fun actions and rhymes. There is a video on the Reception/Willow class page that demonstrates how to say each sound so feel free to watch as this will help support your child at home. The children also love to explore a range of books and it is lovely to see them independently accessing the story corner and enjoying the books. Reading is so important for children’s development and we try to encourage a love for books from the children reading them themselves to simply sitting and enjoying a book being read to them. Have a look at the children ‘living life in all it fullness.’
