For the last few weeks, we have been working on our story of the Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch by Ronda and David Armitage. We have read the story in parts and looked at the emotions of the characters throughout the story. We have explored lots of new vocabulary as well as completed pieces of work building up to us retelling the story ourselves, but with one crucial change, we had to come up with a new plan to scare the seagulls! As you will see from our writing, we came up with some fabulous ideas from putting hot sauce, onions and peppers in the sandwich to name a few. We created our plans and then made a story map to help us with our ideas. Then it was story writing day. We have been working so hard to make the story exciting with new adjectives. We have been truly 'Living Life in all it's Fullness' when we shared our wonderful stories together at the end of our session. I wonder what story we will look at next?
