This week demonstrating life in all its fullness, we have been busy extending our writing skills. The children are really focusing on hearing each sound in a cvc word so they can start to write independently. Our main focus for this term is to develop our caption writing skills. This includes spelling and including tricky words into our short sentences. The children have been working hard to hold a caption in their head and then attempt to write it without any adult support. Some examples of a caption are: A big red bus. The dog is wet. The grass is green. Pat the big dog. Check out their wonderful writing skills below!
