Oracy is an important skill which helps us live life in all its fullness. The ability to explain our thoughts to others needs to be constantly practised. This week Yr 2 had a parent workshop talking about RE and our values. This was a great opportunity to share how we use language to develop our thinking and understanding.
After our discussion, the children and parents had an opportunity to participate in different activities designed to not only be fun but also involve their oracy skills as they had to ask questions, take turns and share resources.
We all had a great time with the activities and our parents got to see how we, as a church school, teach RE and develop their understanding of our values.
