Maple Class LOVED World Book Day on Friday!
We all got to dress up as our favourite characters so Mrs Thurman was teaching Batman, Tinkerbell, Glinda the Good Witch, Fantastic Mr Fox and many many more!
We loved our learning because we spent all day using a very funny book ‘Dinosaurs Love Underpants’ as our focus for all our lessons that day.
We wrote about our favourite part of the story and explained why in English and we used underpants to do some measuring in Maths!
We also had a special treat during guided reading, children from the high school came to read us some stories!
We loved sharing all our learning in assembly with all the children and ‘The Grand High Vitch’
