On World Book Day, Nursery had lots of fun dressing up as their favourite book characters.
The children had a lovely time drawing their favourite characters and also drawing themselves sharing books with their friends. They even had a go at a world book day scavenger hunt, where there were lots of books on the carpet and the children had to look in the books to find each of the pictures on the scavenger hunt list, they did so well and we were really proud of them!
In the afternoon we watched a little bit of 'World Book Day LIVE' with Matilda, streamed from the Cambridge Theatre London and all the children had a chance to tell everyone who they had come dressed as and the story they were from. They also had a chance to show us a book if they had brought one in – what a lovely day!
Also, a great big thank you to our super parents for dressing your children so amazingly, well done!
