The children have come to the end of their topic as adventurers and will embark on their new journey soon. As adventurers they have explored the similarities and differences between places around the world. They have looked at their local community and places that are far away. The Antarctic and Artic have been mesmerising, as it gave them the opportunity to explore water, ice and colour mixing.
Our most recent book 'The Way Home for Wolf' really allowed the children to be immersed into the colder regions. They have learnt lots of new vocabulary such as pack, shelter, blizzard and majestic. They also wrote some fantastic pieces of writing linking to the topic.
