Mental Health and Wellbeing
Welcome to our Mental Health and Wellbeing section of the website.
'Having good mental health helps us relax more, achieve more and enjoy our lives more.'
But, there are times when we all feel the strain. As parents, children and staff, there are many ways in which we can support ourselves and others around us in order to give each and everyone the best chance to stay mentally healthy and help each other cope with whatever changes we may face.
Here you will find an array of useful resources to support yourself and others. These range from simple activities, purposeful extracts from useful websites and texts as well as important contact details in order to gain further support.
Please remember that we are all here to support and care for each other. If there is anything you feel worried or concerned about, we are here to help, please do not hesitate to contact school via telephone or email.
Mental Health Resources for Children
'The emotional wellbeing of children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them.'
Recognising the changes in a childs behaviour can have a huge impact. Offering the support and guidance a child needs is fundemental as this builds their ability to acknowledge, develop and overcome certain challenges.
Here you will find many practical resources to support children and focus on their wellbeing. These resources will allow each child to recognise their feelings and begin to understand deeper as to why they may feeling this way. From here, further support can then develop and nurture each child's ability to build resilience.
If there is any further information, support or guidance you need, please contact school either via email or telephone and we will do all we can to help.
