Clergy
Before becoming a Minister in the Church of England, I was a teacher in local secondary schools, teaching English and Religious Education. Before that, I taught adults with special needs from adult training centres and the old psychiatric hospitals.
I have lived in Rubery for over 40 years and have always been involved in schools at some level. Before becoming the Parish Priest of Frankley, I was on the governing body of another Anglican/ Methodist church school within my former parish.
I am looking forward to being involved as much as possible, both within the life of Holly Hill School and within the parish of Frankley generally.
I am the Minister of Northfield Methodist Church and Chinese Methodist Church. I originally came from China and settled in the UK since 2003.
Before becoming a Minister of Methodist Church, I was working in London as a lay worker running the Refugee and Asylum seeker’s children project. Mainly to help those children to find local medical and education access. It was a wonderful time to work with the parents and see the children growing their confidence to become integrated within the local community.
As a mum of two boys, I know how energetic and curious children are to explore what is the meaning of life. I have always been involved in bringing church and school together nourishing children’s spirituality.
I am looking forward to working alongside my churches as well as my Anglican colleague to support the Holly Hill children’s spiritual evolvement.
