Today in Fir class we have been living life in all its fullness as we consider John Wesley on Aldersgate day, a celebration of the day John Wesley was welcomed as a member of the Methodist church.
We thought about John Wesley and how he wanted everyone to be able to worship, not just the rich. We also learned that without John Wesley, we would not have Holly Hill today, as our school is on Methodist land.
We thought about John Wesley’s words, which can be found in our school prayer, as well as how his heart was strangely warmed. We asked ourselves, what makes our heart feel strangely warmed?
We thought about how our hearts feel when they are warmed and what happens to make it warm.
