Addition!

This week in Maths, we have been exploring addition using a number line.

We have learned that when we add two numbers together, our number gets bigger!

We have been practicing making number sentences and solving them using a number line. When we have been practicing with Miss Whatmore, she makes lots of silly mistakes, so we have to make sure we are watching carefully and give very clear instructions when we solve our questions step-by-step.

First, we read the number sentences. Then, we circle the biggest number on the number line. Then we have to do the correct amount of jumps until we reach our answer. We have been working so hard!
