Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
The children have been waiting for weeks to meet the butterflies. They emerged on Monday and we have sent them flying off to their new homes. We have been learning about life cycles as part of topic and have learned some very interesting facts. Did you know that painted lady butterflies taste with their feet and breathe through their wings? The caterpillars like to eat thistles and stinging nettle leaves. We will be looking out for our butterflies. Maybe they will come back to visit us. As always we are learning and living life in all its fullness.
