This week we have been living life in all its fullness as we explored a traditional tale called Stone Soup.
We had great fun acting out the story and learning new words like “trudging” and “slumped”.
We also wrote a recipe for Silly Stone Soup - we had lots of fun thinking of different ingredients!
Finally, we became authors as we retold our own version of the story. We planned it out carefully with a story map before working our socks off to write a whole page in our books! We had to think carefully about our handwriting, as well as capital letters, full stops, adjectives and conjunctions!
We are very proud of our work from this week!
