We have been learning about polar regions. This week, our focus story is Blue Penguin. We know that he felt sad and lonely because he was treated unkindly by the other penguins as he looked different. We have used shaving foam to make marks and faces to show how Blue Penguin was feeling. We learned that some species of penguins live in Antarctica. We painted penguins and added their eyes, feet and beaks. We also wanted to express our creativity through junk modelling and started to make a variety of animals and vehicles using recyclable materials. Last week, our focus story was set in the Arctic region so we have drawn Northern Lights using chalk. Well done Blossom for living life in all its fullness.
