Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
Living life in all its fullness, we have been learning about Dame Floella Benjamin and her love of stories and writing. As she was a Cbeebies presenter, we linked her life story to the Caribbean. The children located some of the islands on the map and painted island flags. They learned about the journey of Windrush which stopped at some of the islands to collect passengers coming to England and sorted clothes into those they would wear in hot and cold countries.
