Bonfire Night Music!

This week in music, we learned a little about Bonfire Night!

We closed all of the blinds, turned off the lights and snuggled into a circle.

We took it in turns to light (or switch on) a candle, and we explored the chiming instrument. We had to watch and listen carefully for when it was the right time to play the instruments as we sang along!

We also practiced our counting skills:

1 little candle burn, burn, burn,

Bonfire Night is here!

2 little candles, burn, burn, burn,

Bonfire Night is here!

We sang and used the instruments until we had 10 candles.

Last half term, we also sang songs about healthy eating and explored the different ways we can use our voices as instruments.
