Cedar class have been learning to subtract

We played a maths game to practice our subtraction skills. Everyone counted out the pieces of fruit to match the numeral and then rolled the die to feed the frog. We learned that when we take away we have fewer objects left. We counted how many objects we had left. We learned how to use a number line to subtract by counting backwards along the number line.
