On Tuesday Reception visited St. John’s Church in Ladywood. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from Mavis, Jenny and Jackie. The children entered church quietly, calmly and with respect. We were very proud of how they conducted themselves.
During the day the children experienced time for reflection, time for prayer, story time, role-play, time to create, time to sing and dance and time to think about others.
The children we able to share what they had learned about the Christmas story and the ladies were very impressed. The children acted out the story of the Three Kings. They enjoyed dressing up and pretending to be different animals. It was fun! We had a truly memorable day our visit to St. John’s was a wonderful experience.
