Celebrating our differences in Willow class
10th Oct 2024
This week in Willow class we have been using our value of tolerance to think about our similarities and differences. The children have enjoyed reading different stories such as 'We are all different', 'My princess boy' and 'The same but different too!'. Willow class have been brilliant at talking about how we are all unique and that this should be celebrated. One boy said "We are all different but all should be loved!" and everyone in our class agreed. We have also been learning a little bit about Black History Month and why it is celebrated every year. The children attended an assembly about it and we talked about it during our circle times in class. Well done Willow, you have been living life in all its fullness this week.
