The children have had a wonderful time in Forest School this week. Following on from our story 'My Very Own Space' the children had drawn nests for an animal in their book. To follow this up we took the children into Forest School to build a den using sticks and other things we could find. Working together the children explored and found sticks, leaves and cut grass that they could use.
It was rather windy that day so the children also had to make sure the den would hold up against the wind. To finish our session of the children found two sticks they could use to tap out a rhythm as we told the story 'Going On a Bear Hunt'.
The children are really looking forward to their next Forest School adventure.
