Last week, in Evergreen class, we have been 'Living Life In All Its Fullness' by having the opportunity to become design engineers. We began the week by discovering what a design engineer is. We then learned about James Dyson and discovered that he made over 5000 prototypes for his vacuum cleaner. We thought about this shows great determination and resilience which is a skill we are practising within our own learning. We learned how to sketch designs for our new creations and we got to explore the Dyson vacuum cleaner and even got the chance to take sections apart and reassemble them! We had a fantastic time! Finally we put all of our new skills into practice and became design engineers to create a prototype of something that would help or encourage people to recycle.
