We have had a very busy few days in Nursery this week making the most of 'Life in all its Fullness' by celebrating Easter.
We began the week by reading and sharing the story 'We're Going on an Egg Hunt' which resembled one of our other favourite stories. The children loved lifting the flaps and counting the Easter Eggs. They used their counting and computer skills to play an Easter Egg counting game too.
In Phonics we have been listening to Easter sounds and working in pairs to play an Easter Sounds Bingo Game. Games are fantastic at building turn-taking skills, collaborating with friends and sharing. Easter Bunny cards were carefully made with careful attention paid to writing names and sticking things in the correct place.
In preparation for today, the children used their colouring skills to decorate pictures of Easter eggs. These were used today for our Easter Egg Hunt. It was wonderful to see the children's excited faces searching for their egg pictures in exchange for the real chocolate eggs.
