We have been celebrating Easter during our writing this week in Maple and 'Living Life in all it's Fullness' by sharing Jesus's story.
Each day we have looked at a different day of the story.
On Monday we wrote an acrostic poem together about Palm Sunday. On Tuesday we looked at the events of Maundy Thursday and chose different parts of the day to write about and explain what was happening. On Wednesday we discussed Good Friday and how this day was really sad as this was the day Jesus died. We discussed why the symbol of the cross is important. On Thursday we pretended we were his disciples. We read the last part of the story when Jesus rose again and then created diary entries saying how we were feeling on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Tomorrow we will be acting out the story in small groups we can't wait for this!
