This week in Evergreen class, we have been ‘Living Life In All Its Fullness’ in our phonics lessons. We have been working hard all year to use our phonic knowledge to blend words in our reading sessions. We are also using these skills within our writing. In Year 2 we also learn about the different spelling rules. These skills are important and will continue to help use progress in both writing and reading. Today we were being ‘detectives’ and searching for the sound in each word with our magic pen and the deciding if it was a real or nonsense word.
