The children have had another fun-filled week. In our "Understanding of the World" activity, we began to explore all about Autumn! We talked about the leaves changing colours and falling from the trees, the changes in the weather, and all about the harvest. The children had lots of fun leaf painting and printing.
Also this week, the children were introduced to their new book, "Daisy Eat Your Peas." From this, the children enjoyed creating their own food plates with all the foods they like and in a small group they talked about their favourites.
In maths, they have been busy building with blocks, creating rockets inspired by the story "Whatever Next!" We talked about the shapes of the blocks, which were bigger or smaller, and if they were curvy, round, or pointy.
