This week during RE the children have been finding out about harvest time. We looked at what happens on farms during harvest time and what grows in the hedgerows. The children were able to look at different vegetables as well as some corn and fruit. We talked about where they grow and what we can use the corn for once it has been turned into flour. We also talked about how we give thanks to god for our harvest and the special harvest festivals that take place in church
