Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
The children in Fir Class have been finding out all about halving. Here we explored how many biscuits we would get each if we had an odd number. We learnt that one whole cut in two pieces would give us 1/2 each. We went on to solve problems which involved finding half of lots of numbers of biscuits, for example, if you had half of seven, each person would get 3 1/2.
