Today Jules from Garden Organic came to Nursery to introduce our 'move more, eat well' project. The parents and children had a great time learning all about growing potatoes and microgreens such as pea sprouts and kale. Jules then brought little pots, multipurpose compost, cress and broccoli seeds as well as potatoes for the children and parents to plant.
Potatoes take 100 days to grow so we will be carefully counting the days in nursery till we harvest them.
The Nursery staff would like to thank the parents once again for the fantastic turn out and wonderful support.
