We have been very busy learning about the Hindu and Sikh festival, Diwali. We learnt the story of Rama and Sita and made diva lamps to remember how Diwali is the Festival of Lights. We made Rangoli patterns with pastels, crayons and pegs and peg boards. We all had a go at sequencing pictures to retell the story. We also decorated handprints with mendi patterns. Happy Diwali.
