Welcome back Nursery and Happy New Year!
We’ve had a really enjoyable first few days back.
The children couldn’t wait to tell us and all of their friends about the Christmas break, what presents Father Christmas had brought them and the time they had spent with their families! It was lovely seeing all of their happy little faces.
Our topic this term is ‘We are Adventurers’ and the first book we have introduced is ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. Its such a great interactive story and Nursery have enjoyed listening to it and have been busy making a story map for our display. This book will be explored in depth over the next few weeks with lots of fun activities planned.
Finally…we had snow! – Well what can we say other than they loved it!!!!!
