Due to the warm weather and hot temperatures in school in the afternoon we will close to ALL pupils at 1pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Children are able to wear their PE kit everyday this week.
Cedar class enjoyed listening to the story of Jesus and the blind man. We found out that Jesus was a superhero in the story and healed the man. We discussed how both men showed gentleness through their actions and their words. The children tried extra hard to be like Jesus this week and have shown gentleness in various ways.
The children pretended to be the blind man from the story and used their senses to explore objects in the classroom. They took it in turns to be blindfolded and their friends showed gentleness when supporting them around the room.
We talked about all of the things we like to look at and things we would miss if we couldn't see.
We also talked about the importance of sight and how lucky we are.
