The children have been immersed in numbers this week. They have lived life in all its fullness by expanding their math's knowledge, learning about patterns and the concept of 'one more'. They have learnt how to create and continue an AB pattern type. An example of this is ‘red, blue, red, blue’ or ‘circle, triangle, circle, triangle’. They have also looked at what happens when you find one more of a given number. The children now know that the numbers get greater/bigger. Alongside growing their math's skills, they are learning important vocabulary that will help them in other areas of learning.
