Magical Music!

Cedar Class have been 'Living life in all its Fullness' developing their music skills. They have been learning new vocabulary including beat, tempo, pitch, and acapella. This year we have introduced weekly lessons that are dedicated to Music. We have found that there are lots of benefits of teaching/learning music in the EYFS. Music encourages movement, which develops both gross and fine motor skills and improves memory. The children love taking part in the music lessons, as it allows them to express themselves freely. We use instruments and other objects to support their musical development. Check out some of our recent musical performances below!
