This week, Cedar have been living 'Life in all its Fullness' with some magnificent maths. Over the last few days, we have been using the balance scales to investigate which objects were heavier or lighter. Then we moved on to finding a balance using the scales. We chose objects from our classroom and then investigated how many cubes would it take to balance the scale. We used the sentence stem 'The mass of the __________ is the same as ________ cubes.' The children loved seeing how heavy different toys were from around the room. Please enjoy some photos of us!
