This week in Maple class we have been 'Living Life in all it's Fullness' reading the story Stone Soup. We have thoroughly enjoyed this story. We began by creating recipes for our own stone soup and came up with some very interesting ideas for ingredients such as transparent jelly and pink lolly pops! Then, we made story maps to help us to deepen our understanding of the sequence of events in the story and explore ideas for exciting adjectives. After, we have created some amazing pieces of writing retelling the story including our individual ingredients for stone soup. Maple class were very aware whilst reading the story that the villagers were not showing any of our Holly Hill values!
